The Bird Parade
A hybrid of art and science, craft, dance and roving performance, education and entertainment, the Bird Parade is sure to excite, delight and inspire.
A flock of up to 60 children make costumes and join our team of professional performers as spectacular native birds and take to schools, streets, parks and festival to spark passion for our natural environment.
This workshop works for any age group as kids create masks to wear for the festivities and take home as a souvenir of the event.
With digital media consumption on the rise The Bird Parade is a powerful and joyful reminder of the importance of make believe and outdoor play in children’s lives, and the delight and learning the natural world inspires.
