Curious Worlds

INSPIRING A LOVE OF OUR NATIVE SPECIES AND EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION TO HELP CARE FOR THE NATURAL WORLD

Through these workshops children invent fantastical creatures based on native flora, teaching kids that there is magic all around them if they use their imaginations. Even the most mundane twig can become an incredible monster when you unlock your creativity.

These creatures are then brought together to create spectacular murals or digital animations your community can enjoy for years to come. It shows participants from all walks of life how coming together in collaborations can elevate your work far beyond what you could accomplish alone – fostering cooperation and community mindedness.

Join us in this exceptional journey where young imaginations, artistry, and technology intertwine to craft a truly spectacular masterpiece that celebrates both our unity and the wonders of the environment.

This workshop was featured in Big Kids Magazine, Vivid Festival and its murals have been on display in the Surry Hills Long Day Care and Preschool, bringing colour and joy since 2020.

As an educator it was amazing to watch the creativity flow out of the children as they looked at these natural resources they see every day in a new light.

We live and create on stolen land, and pay respects to the traditional custodians who have been creating and performing here for thousands of years.

We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. Sovereignty was never ceded;

Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
